As a heavy equipment operator for our field services group, you will be operating a variety of contractor equipment and trucks used in construction, maintenance and repair activities. In addition, you will perform various semiskilled tasks relative to property maintenance and disaster response.

Operate trucks and construction or power equipment, such as mechanized broom, backhoe, man-lift, dump truck, snowplow, front-end loader, hydraulic excavators, and skid steer loader
Operate jackhammers, mowers, brush chippers and other small equipment and tools to maintain street and utility systems
Perform routine cleaning, inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
Execute all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
Active driver’s license, CDL A or B preferred
Availability to travel roughly 20% of the time to remote project sites
Current Heavy Equipment Operator’s (hoisting) license in MA with Grade 2B (front end loader/backhoe) or equivalent endorsement
Up to date DOT physical
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Local travel to various worksites may be required.
